The Bogota-Region Food Security Cluster is an initiative created by the CCB, expanding the scope and strengthening the work that has been promoted over the last two years by the Food and Gastronomy Cluster.
This cluster is an innovative and strategic bet, without reference at a global level, which, through collaborative exercises between the private, public and academic sectors at a local level, allows contributing to the fulfillment of the Sustainable Development Goals, in particular Goal #2 "Zero Hunger".
It is focused on farmers, restaurants, micro-businesses in the food and gastronomy sector (popular and traditional cuisine, bakeries, cafes, gastro bars, among others), who can participate in different programs such as: Participate in the Gastronomic Festival - Gastrofest, take part in specialized fairs in the sector and business rounds, training in specialized and tailored topics, receive support for regulatory compliance related to compliance with Resolution 810 and 2492.
In this way, our commitment from the cluster is to strengthen this sector, through the promotion of cleaner and responsible food production, seeking a nutritionally adequate supply so that end consumers can have a healthy life, a purpose that unites us all, and that has been working hand in hand to achieve a more resilient, sustainable and equitable food system.
