Services and commerce account for the largest number of active companies in Bogota and the 59 municipalities in the CCB's jurisdiction.

Analysis
Between January - December 2022, compared to the same period in 2021, the total number of companies registered and renewed in Bogota and the 59 municipalities under the jurisdiction of the CCB increased in the services (7.1%), industry (7.0%) and commerce (4.7%) sectors.
In comparison with the results of January-December 2020 and the same period of 2022, the total number of active companies in services increased by 12.9%, in industry by 13.2% and in commerce by 10.2%.
Description
Decree 957 of 2019 of the National Government establishes a new classification of the size of companies based on the criterion of income from ordinary activities and according to the classification into three macro economic sectors: manufacturing, services and trade.
