ICC Colombia Commissions
The commissions of the International Chamber of Commerce - ICC study, analyze and submit to the consideration of the Executive Committee, the highest decision-making body of ICC Colombia, all the recommendations and rules that contribute to facilitate trade and investment in the areas covered by the ICC, whose representative in Colombia is the CCB.
The Bogota Chamber of Commerce represents the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) in our country and chairs the ICC Colombia National Committee. It is the voice of Colombian businessmen worldwide.
ICC Colombia has organized itself into 9 specialized commissions whose task is to study, analyze, comment or propose modifications or suggestions to the regulations that impact the business exercise; to generate concepts and positions before proposals of international organizations on the matter, as well as to propose and implement studies and projects in favor of the commercial exchange of MSMEs.
This scenario is a great opportunity for our entrepreneurs to participate in the international dynamics, propose concrete actions to reduce barriers to the exercise of their business activity, motivate the implementation of the WTO Trade Facilitation Agreement and achieve significant trade agreements in favor of entrepreneurs and the prosperity of our people.
ICC Colombia is chaired by Dr. Ovidio Claros Polanco, Executive President of the Bogota Chamber of Commerce.
It has a general secretariat and committee management, which coordinates and executes the action plan of each of the committees.
