Public Safety Perception and Victimization Survey 2024

22 May 2024The Bogota Chamber of Commerce will start in June and August the application of the survey that seeks to find out what is the citizenry's perception of security, and thus complement the official figures on crime in Bogota and in 16 municipalities of Cundinamarca.

For the first time, the Citizen Security Perception and Victimization Survey will be applied in the municipalities of: Chocontá, Guasca, La Calera, Cáqueza, Fomeque, Cajicá, Chía, Sopó, Tocancipá, Cota, Zipaquirá, Tenjo, Sibaté, Fusagasugá, Silvania, Ubaté, which opens the measurement panorama to discover how citizens feel about this problem.

The survey will be carried out in person and will last approximately 25 minutes. Citizens' answers will be confidential and will only be used for statistical purposes. Citizens may consult the personal data protection policy of the Bogota Chamber of Commerce on the web page https://www.ccb.org.co/proteccion-de-datos-personales.

The measurement will be carried out by the firm Gloria Gallego Sigma Dos Internacional S.A.S., a consulting and research firm dedicated to the measurement and elaboration of economic, social and business studies and research.
